I know the confederate flag and stuff can be a pretty touchy subject for a lot of americans, but The Dukes of Hazzard is a pretty rocking show. I used to watch it a lot when i was a kid so i figured a skin of the general lee would be pretty rocking, not sure how it would be recieved though?

I did a general lee skin for the XRT when it was still in the demo, no one bothered me. That flag is iconic on that car, and alot of americans would probably be more offended if you made the skin without it.

I see lots of people with this type of dukes of hazard skin - i don't see how the flag itself is harmfull, its the country it belonged to - the flag does not contain racism in itself, and its just part of a car - i don't see a problem

Yeah, i asked some american guys i knew though and they weren't too pleased about the flag I figured the same as you though, it's a bit of a shame to do a skin of that car without the flag!

It doesn't bother me at all...The flag goes with the car..the car would look retarded without it after seeing it with the flag so many times..

The confederate flag is a different sort of thing than a pot leaf canadian flag. I don't think very many people are concerned with the flag, especiall since the devs and most of the moderators are british

the only way its wrong is if your babbling about where it came from and what they thought.

I had a car with the whole roof as that flag ... noone was offended, everyone laughed and thought my skin was funny =) I made like swapped doors, panels etc And ofc, the flag on the roof.

I made a pack of skins for every car with a roof for The General Lee (LFS Name), have a search and save yourself the work

I grew up in Arkansas (now in Illinois), and I think alot have people have the wrong idea about the flag. It's a Southern pride thing. NOTHING to do with racism (granted that was a southern thing too:shrug.

I'm not sure how people in other countries see the confederate flag, but here you're more just an idiot Hillbilly than anything for displaying it

Me and a couple of guys at my school in good ol' Kingsport, TN get into arguments all the time about that flag, the said part is the same guy said the South was going to abolish slavery at some point. XD

But the flag itself is not very offensive, just don't show it to anyone over 80+ with Parkinses disease.. makes my grandfather quirky for some reason.

The general lee is a classic. I don't find its a offending thing. Well I dont know how coloured people in america think about it. Dunno.
