It's got an SiS Mirage GFX card on it - that's the problem.

Theres nothing you can do (except check the specs of the laptop BEFORE you buy it).

bah... lol... do you think that with Windows xp it will run Better? The pc only costed 150€ so...
I doubt it.

If you dont want it anymore you can give it to me too

It won't run better. I installed XP after Vista and I got the same FPS on my laptop.
Check the power settings, if it has any. Make sure it's on 'High performance' or whatever

hey, is it possible to upgrade the graphic card? the laptop is a Fujitsu siemens Esprimo mobile V5515...
Laptop GPU's are near impossible to change, and if you can, it's even closer to impossible to find a replacement. You should be able to send the laptop back in for a refund since you just got it.
It's certainly worth considering returning it, a laptop is a big investment, something you should really try to get right. You won't need an incredible card to run LFS, any 8 series would be great. (I'm not a fan of mobile radeon)
You mean GeForce 8? Any GF 6, 7 or 8 will prolly do, depends on the resolution. You'd get through even with an FX.

well, i would like to return it. Here in portugal, the phones companys have a pact or something like that, where the 10th grade students, teachers etc... can get a pc by 150€ and pay one year of internet 15€ per month... so the only chance is to see if its possible to replace the graphic card... and looks like no I have been shearching about external graphics cards, or adaptors for laptops, something like this, and i found that asus was doing something like that, but i dont know if its out yet, or if it can be used on any laptop...
