BTW,u got to learn to not leave ur stuff into the car,in estonia we must take everything out cause junkies come and sell them im really sry for your porsche
[edit]:,make pics out of it,and see what people will offer for it:P

Usually I take the GPS with me, but yesterday I decided to leave it into my car because I knew I would use the car tomorrow (Today). And this is the finest and most expensive neighborhood in Tampere (City). Video surveliance in the garage, of course. I called to them and they have had 5 other reports from last night. Somebody decided to take something from other cars (This is a garage where are Porsches, Ferraris, BMW Z5's etc "not so common cars").

The "sell" thing you on about would be a "right off" here in the UK.

No idea how, or if you can in Finland, but it's possible to "buy back" the car from the insurers after they've declared it a right-off for less than they offered you for it.

€150 for a Triumph Herald?! Thats crazy!
OT - Mate just bought one as his first car (although insurance etc means he hires it out and will get a clio or something for his first car) and got a "mega deal" on one for £2,250...
k,ill bring my shotgun,take a chainsaw,lets find some junkies
And about insurances: I have every possible insurance on that car: Burn, burglar, accidents (Even if I cause the accident), moose (Yes, crashing with moose is common in Finland) etc.
i think u should start selling some stuff,or sell the car,or if u get more sell the car for furniture like in top gear
I tried to contact one guys who knows "the underground", if he could watch for these stolen goods. Unfortunately, his cell-phone is off.

I would also ask him to brake some bones if he finds out who did this.
Ha ha,got ya,you bought stolen stuff for the car and then the owner stole the stuff back, but actually sense of humor is the best thing in this case, not drinking untill ur in hospital

One more thing...

"it's only money" works for Alcohol and not your car?

It sounds like you need to deal with your problem and get some cash together.

Yes, alcohol isn't my life work (Even I have whisky collection worth couple of hundreds euros).

I have spent hundreds, if not thousads hours fixing and maintaining my beauty. I want that time back if I can't rip the junkie into peaces.
That sucks!

That a 944? Out of all the Porsche's from that time frame that was one of the cheapest built and you can get a fully restored 944 for around 10,000 Euro's now with parts cars going as low as just over 100 euro's.

I would be mega pissed too if it had happened to me and I would love to see the people punished, but to say your project car is ruined and has no chance of return just isn't true, unless you want it to be.

Yes it's going to be a lot of work, and money, again, but then isn't that what project cars are for?

I understand where you are coming from, man I would be seething, but your project car is not dead and you should be able to restore the car again.

LOL I would hate to be those pissheads that messed with your car, hopefully the police can do something, that interior has to be littered with prints ect.

Someone decided to brake into my Porsche. Broke almost everything inside. Nice to see my hobby get ruined by some asswipe junkies.

Niko Bellic, if you pay, he kills.
I called the police and they don't care. "Come here and apply the form. We don't have manpower to investigate this incident, no matter how dare it is to you".
For a moment there I thought it was a real Porsche...

Thanks for easing my pain... Life work is a life work.
Sorry to hear of your loss, but I don't know how insurance works in Finland..
In the UK if you have a rare 'classic' car (A '67 Herald for example) you can insure it for a set value, that is guaranteed to be paid regardless of age of the car.. good example here is a pal of mine who has a late 60's Singer Vogue..insured for a fixed £6500 and it costs him £90/year fully comp!
I know how you feel. Bought a BMX few years ago for £900 and it got stolen few days later BEFORE I had a chance to get it insured. Luckily, I saw the dirty little smackhead a few days later trying to sell it to a BMXer at my local skatepark. Damn, he was a serious mess when I finished. I even hurt my knuckles on my right hand and considering I have no nerve endings in my right hand, wee-ll, he's now cabbaged I'm told and goes into town with a helper.

If you find him mate, ram you thumb into his eyesocket and then skull**** the ****.
My insurance fees are 1000+ eur per year, so I do hope they will pay rational amount because of this. Otherwise I will wreck their office.

And you are proud of that?

Idiot! :thumbsdow
you could sue the insurance company. :P
Quote from Gekkibi :"No, because 944 is front engined car".

Well, all Porsches except the Boxter, the Cayman the 911-series and some racecars are front-engined, so that's not really an argument...
