New Computer for me.
Hey folks. I could use some advices iff possible. I am gonna build myself a new computer. The old one that i have now is
starting too go slow too say it like that. I'll be short but the computer is gonna be used mainly for gaming, and some
movies and tv shows and some of that stuff. Not gonna be overclocked at all.
The current PC i use at this moment is pretty ok for my standards but i'd like something more outta it. I enjoy gaming
but the comp can't really handle it that well.
Old Computer ( that will still be used but most for downloading stuff
) :
Motherboard : ABIT AB9 Pro
Memory : Kingston 1GB ( yeah bit too little )
CPU : Intel Core 2 Duo 2.1GHz
GPU : XFX 7950 GT heatpipe
PSU : 580W Tagan
HDD's : 1x 74GIG raptor ( and that's it ) yeah have some problems with space atm
: Got some exteral drives aswell. Fancy that more than storage on disc's.
I have tried too set up a system that i think will fare well. I am no expert in selecting parts at all but i do know how too build
the damn thing. So any advice on the list below is mutch appreciated.
P.S : Price tag for the system is about 1150 Euro.
Motherboard : EVGA nForce 780i
Processor : Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
Memory : Crusial BallistiX PC6400 4096MB
GPU : GainWard GeForce 9800 GTX 512MB
CPU fan : Not sure. Need help.
Case : Coolermaster Stacker 830 Nvidia Edition / that includes a 850W PSU. Not sure what brand tho. Hafta find that out.
Storage : I have a 1x74gig raptor and a 1x 500gig seagate barracuda un-used that will be used.
I think that's about it. Some fans for good air flow is choosen later on.
