my first attempt was not bad,but not good.
this time i realy tried to put my ideas in it,and i think i did ok.

everything in this movie is takes from 1 of 2 races,that was the idea. a quick review with all the good stuff.

EDIT2: About the video, nothing special, just an usual LFS movie.

1. Thou shall use MPR message block
2. Thou shall not use standard transitions that come with the editing software, use fading
3. Thou shall not start moving camera all of a sudden, fade stationary to moving.
4. Thou shall not tilt camera all of a sudden, fade regular to tilted.
5. Thou shall not use laggy footage
6. Thou shall make sure that if your footage starts with paused game you edit it out in the movie
7. Thou shall not let cars drive through the camera
8. Thou shall not use incar cam with a standard 1st person camera position
9. Thou shall not "look left" and "look right" when filming
10. Thou shall use special effects to give you a nice image, not to transition
11. I wanted to give you advice on special effects, but for now "Thou shall not use special effects"
12. Thou shall not use Windows movie maker
13. Thou shall NOT spell "Production" P-R-O-D-U-K-T-I-O-N, but P-R-O-D-U-C-T-I-O-N, because that is what the Oxford English Dictionary tells you

In Squid's defense, i must say that when i saw his reply, i imediatly saw that he was being funny as he also pointed out all the things that i personaly would said about this video at the same time. Like funny sarcasm...black humor..you know?
But i also thing that he just forgets most of the times , to motivate at the end by saying, try this tips and keep them coming.
And that sometimes just makes all the diference.
But Easy_Mike, did said that he could take the heat!!

I tried to add sony vegas 8 but Vista didnt like it, got some error and didnt want to dig in it.

I didn't spend much time with Sony Vegas 8.0, since I was transferred to Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0, but from what I have learned, 8.0 has some issues... try 7.0, or premiere if you can afford it... (vegas is better for casual movie making though)

I have Sony Vegas 8.0a Pro and never had any kind of issues...

now only to learn something about it.and yes..i bougt it

seams to work great.
and i did read some tips from the "how to" post and got some good advice. (well needed)

i`ll try to make a better movie.

but i need to know about this "messageblock" thing is it something u chance ingame or is it some kind of program ? "N00b "

the biggest issue i had was that i couldnt get my brain to work so i had to record at half speed with fraps..now i corrected that misstake and i can now record at 50fps and 1680x1050 fraps set to halfsize.

well im babbeling away here..
