LFS Track Question
ok i'm slowly leaving the Drifting seen and entering Racing becuase thats where i think i'm the best so i'm wondering what is the track i should learn the most? or in other worlds whats the best or most popular track for racing?

Are all the racers happy that finnaly a drifter is stoping drifting and starting racing?
I think it's Blackwood GP LFSW Stats say that too...

You need to learn them all, well, you need to learn a few variations of each track that way you piece the rest together from the bits you've learnt.

...and, I don't care.
depends on the type of car, slowers car like XFG/XRG defo blackwood, but for say the GTR's i would probably be aston GP / NAT
if you drive on ctra or in a league u would have to learn all tracks.
if you drive on condeodgers, there you only need to know one track, but that gets boring after some hours.
I'm in the same problem as you, having no idea what tracks I need to learn in order to not make a fool out of myself online.

I've obviously learned BL1 and BL1R when I had the demo. Now I focused on FE1 and FE1R and know them pretty well. It's a tiny map (should get to under 51 seconds with the XFG and XRG on it pretty fast) and it's fun. Now I'm going to go for Aston Cadet, Green, Club, etc. Those are small maps as well.

As my friend says, don't try to be a pro in a week. It takes time to memorize and become better. You'll suck and you'll hate it, but that's how it works. Slowly, you'll stop sucking.
Just go in to a server, stay at the back with the other back markers, drive slowly and try to just finish the race. I guarantee that if you finish the race, you won't be in last . On CTRA Race 1 at least . You'll figure it out in due time.

Stay on servers with XFG/XRG until you can overtake cleanly, know how to hold a line with cars next to you, and can finish about 90% of your races. Then you should be able to race comfortably with others and not freak out to much.

Good Luck!

PS.....your mirrors are your friends, if you turn in on someone inside, be ready with the "sorry". and learn from your mistakes.

i recently found an awesome way of learning to drive and at the same time get into all LFS has to offer.

Which is doing the suggested hotlaps on Main Hotlap Ranking on lfsw. 18 hotlaps, 18 cars, 18 dif configs. Don't stop a combo until you get it "green", i.e., you got into 103% of the WR.

I've done 17, and i can drive pretty much all cars now with enough skill to race.
If you get bored alternate with racing. But imo, if you want to learn fast, thats the best way.

And another good point is that you get a good feeling for what a car has to offer, and so you'll want to race more with the ones you like the most. Same with tracks.

Good racing

Ok thx i was jjust doing some racing today and i can tell i always brake Way to early or to late but other wise i'm good (i think) one question though is there a way to have the LFSW Hotlaps in the game instead of having to always minimize LFS and get LFSW up? and how do i know if i'm 103% or what ever?
Sorta, using in game commands you can get the game message to show your PB, your submitted hot lap time (if you've done one) and the current world record for that track/car.
