Quote from mcintyrej :The BMW driver i overtook didn't seem too impressed i'd just beaten him on a pedal bike.

How did you drove when you were a passenger? You must have really long legs to reach pedals. </sarcasm>

Non taken. Sorry, I just had to post that last post. My english isn't very good, either.

(For example, I have no idea when to use comma. In finnish, it is included in every freaking place...)
Fastest I've ever gone was during a ride and drive Goodyear put on a couple years ago. but I dont know how fast I was even going. I'm guessing about 150-160 in a 360 Modena, and about 120 in the Vette both at Pocono. I'm not really sure though. It felt fast.

But most of it wasn't driving for speed, tearing around a wet autocross course was more exciting.
without the headlights would be awesome
where he got that DTM engine from (has to be quite old, BMW hasn't been in the DTM for ages) and why the hell does it need two "race computers"?

I have no idea, but he had the papers of the engine and computers (he bought the car like that). It had 2 computers because if one breaks down you have a spare one. :P lol
He did a race against a Hayabusa on the autobahn and he could keep up with it all the way to 300 kmh.
Fastest that I have driven is around the 80.

As passenger 230 in a Opel Astra 1.8 in germany
Come to think of it, I've actually driven a tad faster on my bike (pedal bike) than I have in a car.

EDIT: Now I come to think of it again, that's wrong ^

Even with 480 HP, I somehow doubt an E36 would keep up with a Hayabusa in its element (straight line performance).

0-60: 2.77
60-100mph: 2.34
100-150mph: ~5
150-180mph: ~9.5

And the stretch on those tires is hideous, as are the wheels and the body kit.
That isn't a bodykit - per say. Its the kit that all M3s came standard with. I don't like the wheels, but that's Europe for you. Same for the stretch, although I have seen much bigger stretch.
I meant the sideskirts. They don't look like they belong.

Quote from The General Lee :...per say.

per se

/grammar police
/excuse I knew that was wrong anyway...

That don't look right because they clip to the sill, so they bulge out a little.
i havent driven with cars a lot of speeds but, by my brothers 125cc motorbike i got 155 km/h on a long straight
I have a PB since my latest post On motorway, yesterday I managed to beat my 160km/h (100 mph) record. The new one is 180 km/h. (112 mph). Legally the max speed on motorways in Hungary is 130 km/h (82 mph)
The Terminator I'm getting later this summer is capable of nearly 180mph, I'm sure I'll hit 160 a few times, but because I'll have Pirelli Pzero nero's on it.

Here's a crappy quality, tough to say if it's stock, the supercharger sounds stock tho, whipples are different sounding.

Here's a better one:

Here's a video of a bone stock one, basically identicial to what I'll have. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yi__60ZT1wI

It sucks, there's two for sale in my area right now, one that's yellow with black leather, and only 25k miles, but I my CD doesn't mature for two more months....Uhg.. Btw, it took me a year to decide what car to get, it's gonna be a lifer. (I have my VR6 for daily driver, fun car too)

I'm kind of a hypocrit, I tell people not to speed or street race, because most people simply can't drive. But I've owned 7 mustangs and several modded imports, and I spend "most" of my time at the track, however, on a friday night when me and my car club go for a 100 mile cruise, sometimes we dick around a little. There's one section of brand new highway around here that has steep banks and everything, you'd think you were on pocono raceway, ironically it's about 15 miles from the raceway, where I'm talkin about.
Anyways, I don't mess around where there can be pedestrians, and we don't race from a dig on the highway, no way. Only once in a while we'll race one gear, that's it. We cruise to a very beautiful part of PA near the Delaware River, and on the way back it's dark, that's when we have a little fun. But we're very strict, and the drivers that aren't so good are upfront and honest, plus it's not hard to tell. When I open my glove box I have hundreds of slips from the drag strip
Awesome sound!
Oh man, you gotta hear one with a kenne bell whipple, I'll find a video. It's the only major mod I plan on, a KB 2.5, and exhaust, should yield around 600-625rwhp with a conservative tune.

Here's a nice one with a KB 2.8, even bigger than what I will have!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v ... unHQQ&feature=related In car 30-160
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v ... VO784&feature=related Fly by's.

Both with Kenne bell whipples, the second one is 2.8 and NOT conservative tho, the first is the 2.5 I'll have.

Now compare that with my bone stock '99GT, well, it has exhaust. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CthAg0o6soE and...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pY_snvjSIKI <This was just me practicing launching, I was short shifting it like crazy, between 4500-5000, when racing 5800-6200. HUGE difference.
That will rock! You must post videos of yours as soon as you tune it!
When I first get it, it will be later summer, early fall, perfect time to drag, so, I mean, I can post some drag video's, of me losing to other 800 hp mustangs and camaro's, or I can go on import night!!! Just put on a set of 10.5's and launch hard as hell, they only run 1/8 mile, I shoudl run mid 8's.

Anyways I promise to post videos, but I don't think I'll do anything ilke what those other cobra's did, maybe first gear thru third, not 160, not even with the pirelli's, blow out, and ur dead, or someone else is dead. But I'm good with a cam, I'll throw up some nice one's, and not just the one's of me winning.

I can't beleive I forgot to post this one, lol, enjoy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v ... Ec1C0&feature=related

Okay that's enough for now lol, I have these all favorited, cause I can't wait to get mine. I've actually considered forfitting my interest to get my CD now...
I've never really liked Mustangs for the most part, just not thought of them as my type of car, but regardless I can't help but appreciate the amount of straight line performance per dollar they can offer with a few mods Is there any less expensive way to end up with a car with that kind of power?
