I make music because it's fun. I play by ear (since I was very young), never stuck with lessons, and mainly try to write my own stuff. I prefer not to sample when making my music, but that's not to take away from the talented folks who produce cool stuff by sampling.

If someone know another artist with pretty close same biography and talent in making music as this one, and whose songs takes breath away, please post it here. I would be very thankful, because there is so much musicians with amazing music, but most of us just don't know them.

I've got it too Most songs are really good, even though I expected a bit more after having seen and heard his recent clips on youtube.

Bought the album. Some good stuff but very ecclectic so its impossible to like the whole thing. If his next album is heavier like in this clip i'll get it, otherwise the one I have will stay alone in my collection as an oddity.

I bought an album. I love these songs so much. At all i don't like Rap and Hip-Hop and newer liked but this one is sweet. There is only music, no voice. But exselent music with breath taking melody.

I have to say, whilst I did enjoy the music and am impressed with what he's acheived, I found it more interesting in video format, the music on it's own didn't appeal to me, so I won't be buying. Still, impressive.

If anyone likes this track of his, definitely check out the band STS9. They sound similar and are a really great band, especially live.

Got to say actually, some of his stuff is pretty good. The youtube linked to is pretty impressive sounding for what it is.

I really liked that one... it's not only impressive, it's aswell really nice and peaceful music.

What i really like about the other guy (ronald) is that he does it from the heart (very easy to tell). Which is very important. I also like his music a lot (and it's not even my style), but most of all, i love how much it comes from the heart and soul... he's like a child, very natural. Truely impressive!

I've never liked that "epic" style of hip-hop production, but he does do it very well. I much prefer the older sample-based stuff from the late '80s / early '90s, but of course it's too expensive to make music like that these days.

Does anyone think his whole accent/glasses/appearance is authentic? or is it just part of his performance?

I remember when his first CD came out. There wasn't a doubt in my mind that he was playing a character, but seeing as no one here has laughed at him, I'm starting to second-guess myself...

Wow! This is another one band what i'm searching for. But there is no clear music tracks in youtube except myspace page. There is only live records.

I think that in a harsh and critical world (i.e. music) his persona (whether purely fictional, or just exaggerated) makes his music stand out

Who cares? Yes he has a geeky personality, but makes awesome music.
BTW I regret that I downloaded his album. I think I'll buy it sooner or later
