The Caution Controversy
Should purposely producing cautions (i.e. stopping ur car on the apron) to benefit yourself or your teammate be allowed (this is allowed in NASCAR but it is not in ARCA)?

An example of a forced caution is if I spun and I tell my teammates (through vent of course no chatting allowed) that I need a caution. My two teammates can pull over on the apron and stop their car. Since a caution states that 3 or more cars need to be stationary, even though the cars didn't technically crash, a caution will still come out

You saw my post in the other thread as an example, but no this should not be allowed to happen no matter what because it is too much of an unfair advantage.
This should not be llowed in any shape or form.

If a car spins by his or herself then tough crap, it contradicts the 3 car rule.

If a car stops on the track = penalty of 45 seconds, then specatte, then removal from game.

A loophole that I see already.

Someone (you?) will see through this and just have your teammate wreck someone else causing the big one, scrapping tons of metal...if you cause a caution you should be sent to the tail and/or be assessed a drive-through penalty.
No this should not be aloud because it would give the teams a unfair advantage on the privateers. PS...This is not aloud in nascar...Did you not watch the Richmond race that PMD described in the other thread...Denny hamilin was gien a penalty for doing this.
To me this sounds like cheating. You aren't fast enough to win the race fairly so you fabricate a way to beat the faster driver....BULLSHIT in my opinion.

If we are aloud to do this I might actually have a chance to win....but I couldn't stomach using this method!!!!
Yes there should be a rule agaisnt it, imo. Really cheap stuff.
Alright, that rule is set then
omg! this can happen in real life racing? .... this is rubbish
Dont worry, it's already decided that forced cautions will not be allowed
these kind of behaviors are so lack of sportsmanship!

glad that it is not permitted
