If I decide to buy S2 and i have some trojans on my computer can someone take my card number take my money and the voucher number and then I kill my self
I m not sure i have the right protection I have just some free software for that and i dont know how effective it is.That porn killed my pc I sow that other people have similar thoughts and I guess that it shouldn't be that bad.
Your current hypothesis brings forth a number of ethical, social and philosophical concerns - such as the connection of material wealth and one's suicide over their loss - yet leaves a lot to be wished for in the field of logic and rational conduct, starting from the fact that as a hypothesis it is hardly post-worthy.
Forget buying LFS right now and just clean your PC....which is kind of obvious, don't just sit there if you know your PC has trojans on it, but you are trying to give out important details about yourself (the kind you should never give out to muppets on the internet/anywhere at all) so maybe I shouldn't be so surprised.
Good free antivirus discussion - http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=31896 - I'd recomment Avast, having just switched to it from AVG it's much better. Download and scan your PC. Then use something like Spybot Search and Destroy or other such programs, I also run Crap Cleaner as well.
There is a program called hijackthis, it can be a little time consuming to use so google it, read about it and do what you have to do.
I wish I could understand your high style of writing. sorry but my english is not at that level .Anyway thank you for your reply. I guess your suggestion was to change my anti virus
I use AVG (free) and SpyBot to protect my computer.
You can get AVG for free at http://free.grisoft.com/ and google for the SpyBot, because I can't remember the adress right now.
But the ultimate trojan killer is 'format c:'
However, you can still go to a friend with a clean PC and buy the license from there.
It is very unlikely that spyware will steal your LFS account, and if it happens, I am absolutely sure you will be able to get the account back by talking to Support.
Or if you still don't fully trust your previously compromised Windows installation and have a bit of courage, you could alternatively boot up some Linux live CD and purchase your S2 licence from in there.
