hey guys i was thinking about starting a usa banger league but i want to know if anyone is interested first. so tell me what you think

I don't think anyone was angry about banger racing back then, and they shouldn't be now.

people who get angry about banger racing don't know what they're talking about. I could get angry at drifters but I don't, they like doing what they do and we like doing what we do. We both are using LFS in our own way, whether you choose to actually do it or not is entirely up to you. But don't pass judgement on something you haven't actually tried

knk - ever thought of joining one of the UK banger leagues?

Maybe a server filter should sort out this cruising/drifting/bangning hatred in LFS community. There is already the possibility of hiding cruise servers. Why not broaden the filter's scope to drifting and banger servers too? That way, the players would never notice the presence of these servers and wouldn't care.

I see it very hard for all these communities co-exist, so maybe the isolation is a solution...who knows.

From what I've seen browsing the forums, people are only annoyed at drifting and cruising servers, so they should be filtered (even though the cruising ones already are). There are only three banger servers on LFS, a minority compared to the number of cruise and drift servers. I've never seen anything on here relating to banger hatred - besides, banger racing is meant to be fun and a relaxing experience from serious racing. According to what I've read there, it seems as if you've never been in a banger server. Now, I'm not starting a flame war here, but you should try out some of the banger servers before making a judgement.

To be honest, you are right. I was in a banger server once for about 30 minutes and I liked it. I just thought that the "bangers" are just as popular as cruisers and drifters. Although cruising and drifing is also for fun Anyway, my bad, I accept that. But I still support the idea of server filters. Even for banger servers, because it would help me to find such servers more easily even though they are a minority.

The server filters would be a good idea though!

Is either because all lfs comunity suddenly became a real brotherhood, with everyone politely respecting other's opinions...

Then again it might be just because someone posted something alerting for flamimng...
