If two weeks of eating none radiation grass fixes them, I'd say it is a minimal issue. If we all had to walk around with Geiger counters and there are check points where if you have high levels of radiation on you, you need a decontamination shower, I'll be mildly concerned.
Clearly you have been reading the government guidelines on how to survive a nuclear attack. Don't forget, cloths and books offer protection against radiation.
While this may be so with some weaker forms of radiation, come the Nuclear War, inevitably started by those pesky Yanks/Russkies/Koreans/Iranians/Martians (delete where appropriate) I will not be taking cover under a blanket of old Beano and Dandy Comics.
According to the surival guides handed out by the gov't (last time we talked about Threads on here someone linked to them all), if you cover your table with cloths and books, it'll keep you safe from a nuclear attack.
Mackie - some people like to take excess precautions. After the nuclear fallout we can chat about whose method was best - lead or cotton. I'll even place a wager of £5 on the result
I got in trouble for nailing the doors onto the floor and piling the insulation from the attic on top I tried explaining that we would be safe in case of nuclear attack, but that didn't work...Oh well, back to the drawing board
