She does have a nice (read: not awful) voice. The song has decent melody as well but it doesn't strike me as anything I haven't heard before...

Bohemian Rhapsody isn't even my favourite Queen song, let alone the best song ever
I much prefer Killer Queen.

It's odd that Rhapsody is cited as the most innovative song ever, because a lot of Freddie's older songs are very similar in style and pacing. I think the video probably helped.
