Hey, I'm wondering whether anyone can help me.

i can't remember when it started happening but when i single click something with my mouse it double clicks it and its VERY annoying and i don't know what the problem could be. but if no one else could think of any reasons why its doing this ill just buy a new one.

might help if you look at the mouse properties. i think there is an option to choose single or double click.

i have its on single click

no one can think of what it could be?

I am experiencing the same problem with my optical Microsoft Intelli Mouse.
Getting random double - triple clicks by just pressing it once.

It’s just that click switch getting worn out… I have used it hard enough for the past 4 years so it doesn’t surprise me.

oh ok i think ive had this for quite some time now so i think its time to buy a new one
