Problem Logging in to Raceauthority.com
Getting this error using firefox

Response object error 'ASP 0158 : 80004005'

No problem using IE

Version of Firefox? It's probably not sending the Host-field with the header (required using http 1.1). Any addons that could possibly modify the http-header?

Hmm.. it's an odd error. Try again and let me know if I managed to bag it.

[edit] are you getting the error after trying to log in, or on first arrival at the page?

Works fine for me with Firefox 3 atm
Login appears to be working fine on IE7, Opera 9.5 and FF3 here.
firefox ver.2.0.0.14
add-ons dictionary , download'em all ,fire ftp , tab browser preferences. Tried disabling them all with no difference.
Error message did appear when trying to log on ,but no message now Sam .
Now the login /password box just go blank.
Allowed cookies for raceauthority.com (do I need to?)

Can log in using mobile phone ok

Cookies are required for access to MyCTRA, yeah. It sounds like one of your add-ons is intercepting/screening the information you're sending to RA. I don't have any good ideas how to fix it though. I don't fancy having to buy a SSL just for MyCTRA
As i said ,I disabled all addons with no difference
thank you sir I'm in

Phew!
Is there any point in asking what the problem was

Quote from Turbo Dad :Is there any point in asking what the problem was

No point in asking me, the only thing I changed was the TV channel!
Must be a magic TV remote control , cause i never did anything and it's been like this for days lol

hehe! Perhaps disabling and re-enabling your plug-ins jiggled something. I haven't any good ideas.. I couldn't see anything in the code that could spark that error, so it had to be the form data being submitted. The whys and wherefores are lost on me, though!
