I have a problem with blender...
I have installed Blender 2.46 and when I start it the screen goes blank illepall
I've tried so many things.. I had python on my computer and when it started it said something about that in a black console screen but then it just went back to desktop

I un-installed Python and re-installed blender but then theres no black box just nothing happens it just goes black for 1 sec then goes off... I never used to have this problem only after I've formatted my PC.. Would it have anything to do with the fact that my Hard Drive is NTFS?

Any help would be appreciated..

I have gfx glitches with my Blender, but it does run. I suspect it's grapichs driver related. Do you have AA enabled? Try disabling it - if that doesn't work, then try updating your gfx drivers.

Thanks for the fast reply... Gonna try now i'll edit my post if it works.. and now I'm thinking about it I recently upgraded my GFX Card.
EDIT: AA Wasnt on althought a few other things were..
Turned all them off and the same problem.. Just goes black for about a sec then nothing happens..

Also I have all the latest GFX Drivers

Try an older drivers then sometimes latest driver isn't necessarily the best.

I really cba to uninstall all the drivers and put new 1's then when I wanna play some games have to install em all again I guess I'll have to suffer..

Alright thanks for the links I guess i'll try downgrading to the lower drivers and see if the Games still work... I'm using catalyst drivers and people say their having some problems so I'll give it a go anyway..
