idd. its a very fun track to drive, but very hard to pass nowadays.
Consider this: coming into the adelaide hairpin you cant really get a good exit out of the previous turn, cause its the estoril bend - a looooooong, sweeping, long, fast and long righthander that has cars simply understeer off the track if they are less than 100meters away from the one in front... No way to slipstream in that straight unless the car in front makes a really sloppy exit.
After adelaide hairpin, its the flat out nurbrugring chicane (no line for 2 cars there) and the looong 180º lefthander. If someone manages to do the chicane slightly better than the one in front, a passing opportunity might rise, but its mainly up to the car in front to miss the braking than any special move from the one behind.
Then the superfast imola chicane - again no way to overtake, and the slisptream prevents anyone getting too cclose there, effectivly preventing underbraking attempts in the next righthander.
We will see those attempts, though, cause with a heavy car its easy to exit the chicane wrong, AND if you exit the chicane too FAST, you go wide - straight into the inside of the corner. This little piece of tarmac is very nicely designed for overtaking - if you can weather the dirty air, you put the foot down in the second half of the chicane, exit fast and wide, and are positioned perfectly for a dive down the inside.
Then its the last overtaking position is the last bend before the kerbchicane - classic place, just go down the inside and hope your not overtaking David Crashhard.
Thing is, we will see overtaking in the imola chicane complex, then the overtaken car will try to regain (and prolly will) in the next bend, due to exiting better.
It IS a blast to drive, though - my fave circuit, right after Estoril (but I'm biased)
