Does anyone know if it's possible to plug a switch into my powerline adapter?, I am getting fed up changing the cable over from the xbox360 to ps3 and back again!!!

Yes, it's possible, it's also possible to buy a powerline adapter with a switch built in (i'm running one of those with an extra usb powered switch).
Thanks Jak, a switch is certainly the cheapest option, I will only ever have one device "on" at a time.

Infact, I don't even think my make of homeplugs have a switch plug available.....
I use them, they are reliable (much more then wireless) for gaming (even when you turn on your dishwasher or vacuum cleaner) but it isn't fast in my home. The homeplugs think they can comunicate with each other at 40 mbps (out of the 85, but with 40 i would be very happy) but i can only get 5 mbps out of it when i transfer data over it. But i don't really care about that, it's reliable and better then UTP cables lieing in my home.
