Feel free to take a look at my online race results, mostly first or podium at the worst, not against 'crap' people, but also the miles on this account, are not all mine, another reason for mBah, I had no intention of conning you, but if you want a more in detail explanation PM me as this thread is getting off topic.
You cheat your way into a team and only stop when you realize that your real identity starts to reveal. You make a thread the next day stating that you look for a new team. In this thread, someone praises your oh so great personality and you expect nobody to comment on that? Ridiculous. :thumbsdow
Oh, and your attitude on the FRT server yesterday also showed your great personality.
Forget this, not arguing with you guys, had enough of it, you don't know the reasons or the full story, so i'm sorry for not being perfect like you guys.
If someone pisses you off you don't just take all the crap do you? So it's the same. His behaviour at times can probably be explained, plus we're not perfect. You can't judge someone by a mistake because we all make them.
He's a great friend and he helped me A LOT in my racing abilities (I doupt he knows it but he did). If he did do that whole creating new account and all I'm pretty sure it's because he wants to improve and none of the teams he's been in could provide that. He just wants to be faster even though he already is fast. He's determined to make it to the top.
Matt's a good lad, you can have a laugh with him, hes active and got real skills.
Everyone deserves a second chance to prove themselves, which im sure he will, yeh he may have deceived a few people but everyone makes mistakes.
He gave his other license to a demo driver so that's at least a positive thing that came out of what happened lol.
Please don't overlook this lad just because of what has happened before, give him the chance to prove himself, i'm sure you all will be pleasantly surprised.
1) If the team he was with wasnt hitting the right buttons, why stay with them, while trying to join other teams on another account?
2) If he wants to learn from another team, apply to other teams.
3) If other teams dont want him, why??
4) If creating a second account, to pretend to be someone your not, in order to get what your not getting as AMB, what does that tell you?
Im sure he had his reasons, but it doesnt excuse the decisions you make, whatever the reason you do it. Those 4 points answer everything, its why he felt the need to insult people by lying to them, misleading them into getting something he wanted, because the things he'd done 'in a past life' werent going to get him what he wanted. Additionally, if you wipe out all the negative things AMB has done (cant say i know of his history in the slightest!) theres still no way we'd sign him, and im sure many others wouldnt either, simple because he missing what makes a good racer into a great racer, he knew that and spun himself as being new to LFS in order to get what he wanted from a new team who would be able to improve him as a driver (4yrs hasnt helped me much, but im beyond help, in lfs or otherwise :razz.
His actions say everything they need to say, and unless he's suggesting someone effectively forced him to take those actions, what excuse is there for taking them. Its his path, he chose the route.
I'm not 100% sure what you're saying but I have something to answer with.
There are few guys within our community who are exceptionally fast and are currently team less (I won't name them!) that would make ideal signings for Mercury Racing or any other team looking for fast pilots, but they lack certain characteristics and pretty much suck in a team setting.
So talent/pace alone really won't do much for you if you're an idiot who generally disregards anyone within the team and wishes to go loan ranger stylie.
Matt, my advice is as others has stated, have some patience, then CHOOSE the team you want to join based on your experience with that team. Please don't just join any old team because they will have you. You have been in alot of teams and basically have said they are not good enough/active enough for you and you want to be in a team that can help you grow in LFS. To do this you must get to know the team members and expect to have to wait for them to make a decision on you. You applied to SR a while back (and again under Mbah) and because we didn't make a decision in a few days you started looking elsewhere. I think that was a big mistake. Any decent team wouldn't take you on until they have got to know you and the fact we took our time should have been enough for you to know you had made a good choice by applying to us.
You are a quick enough driver to be able to get into most teams if you just show some patience and get to know the drivers. I wish you luck and hope you listen to the advice people have given you...
Yeah - from everyones reactions its just confirming that the only reason people showed interest in the second account of AMB was the 'lies' or 'pretense' that made it sound like there was a new quick racer in LFS that all people wanted to get first.
Also from the replies it kinda shows that once you've got a rep for moving regulalry teams and stuff like that - your credability goes downhill etc...
I mean it is fair to say that not everyone can get on in every team, but to jump 5/6 teams (and top teams as well btw) and not be happy tends to show problems with the ONE driver rather than the 5 TEAMS
I have to agree Dru, back lets say a couple of months but you were in one team...you know which one, then jumped to another one the next. I dont belive your credibility, as a driver im sure your alright, but your attitude...
