I can't think of anywhere else to put this, so its going in OT.

Whenever I download a .zip file from a site such as Filefront, instead of a zip, my PC downloads a .efw file.

Sometimes when I just rename the file extension to .zip its fine, but other times it just comes up as corrupt.

Anyone shed some light?

Says here that .EFW is a renamed .ZIP or .EXE file. Also says that they are caused by some antivirus software.

Ok thanks guys, so it seems the fac that the file is corrupt has nothing do wo with it being called at .efw file.
