I'm going to build a new Gaming Computer but I don't really know what to get

I'm willing to spend up to £1000 on parts and this was slightly below budget..

I need a little help on what I could improve on if I want Max Performance

First of all - what power supply will you be using?

Secondly DONT get that mobo - it's crap. Get something like an Asus P5K-E or a Gigabyte P35-DS3R. Spend the money you've "saved" on a better GFX card like an ATi 4850 or 4870.

That PSU is rubbish - Get something like a Corsair 450w or 550w...

I'd get an ATi 4850 or 4870 if I were you. The 8600GTS is rubbish.

What monitor will you be using?

I'm thinking of just getting Dual 19"
