For the second time in a week my icons on LFSWorld have rearranged themselves to a random order. It actually happened twice today, but after a few seconds of the page being opened the icons jumped back to their original position.

Same thing here! It's just something from the last couple of days... think something is changed in the code?

But there'll be an update with bugfixes for lfsworld soon - if the problem persists just post again here. You'll notice when the update has taken place (a new icon - this coming week).
And please always state which browser the problem occurs with.

Firefox: clear browser cache, reload page = icons initially in wrong place. Noticed a while back too, but didn't really pay any attention.

IE6 here, though no new icon yet, so I'll just wait for that and post here if there's still a problem.

sinbad - you have no ubar (userbar, aka taskbar), is that normal?

I always have the taskbar. I just had to take that picture in the second or so as the page was loading for the first time after clearing the cache. Once all the stuff is loaded the icons return to their correct positions and of course I have the taskbar. (Which is why this "bug" is hardly problematic and I only really noticed it was happening because I'd seen this thread).

I dont think it's a bug, it might be a workaround to avoid timing problems. (you cant change the icon pos if you are not sure it's loaded already)
You didnt see that before, because we changed the default position, thus before we did this, your icon positions (which are saved in your cookie) were the same as the default ones. -> you couldn't see them moving

I suggested to change them, because they were more or less sorted by the date we added them, now it's a least a bit sense in it

new icon? cool! 2nd LFS surprise this year...(1st was the "new developer" 4 most of us (tristan of course already knew )

using IE (latest version, that is out @ work) and mFFox 1.5.0.1 @ home

first, the icons seem to appear in a totally different order, than i adjusted(?) them, but a second or two later, they´re back in place (both browsers)

in IE, 2 or 3 sometimes mess up their places, after re-logging in, everythg. is normal... illepall so long, gonna w8tch out 4 NEW ICON (gonna make a LFSWSTparty for that,no?

just logged as guest into lfsword and found this little bug... my lfsstats icon was overlaying all of my pages??

This can happen sometimes if you drag it a bit while double clicking
Just click it again and its fixed :P
