Not something ingame, but something more technical.

My suggestion is an application that is 'completely demo'. Only the files associated with BL and demo cars will be included, and everything else.

I suggested this so LFS doesn't eat up my hard drive with lots of unnecessary files which I can't even use.

LFSdemo.exe will be only for demo users, and restricted the full version. Only when they get licensed can they download the full LFS.

And what's the use of a crack if there are no S2 files?

people can easily find full S2 elsewhere so the aspect of crack protection is useless.

and LFS in itself isn't anything near big in filesize.

Unless you put lots of hi-res textures in it

Get rid of some of the clutter like MS Office and other no vital stuff to make space for vital things like LFS

There used to be a demo only download. When you go back and download the full game after purchasing your licence, you're ultimately using MORE bandwidth than just downloading the full game straight off, and if you're particularly stupid, you won't get that far and will pester tech support about how to unlock your demo copy with your shiny new licence.

It's easier this way.
