Whilst doin a lot of drifting on LFS today, I found that F9 brings up the wheel temp dialogue (woo)

Anyway... I was drifting along, and suddenly my engine just died (not cut out, but it wouldn't accelerate), I crawled back to the pits but it didnt remedy the problem, I did notice the brake lights were on, but the handbrake wasn't. I could no longer bring up the data using F9?, But from previous information...I hadn't burnt through the clutch, but I did notice one of my tyres was running very hot (90's), could this have stopped my engine running well?

On another note...how can you change tyres in the pits without pressing SHIFT+P and having to restart a race?

Cheers
James

PS. I'm gonna buy this game real soon
I can't help you with the F9 dialogue, but you can chance the tires when you press F12 then you can change the tires, pressures etc with the arrow keys.

i think you just ran out of fuel :ices_rofl
during a pitstop (while it shows the timer) you cant use F9 and F10.
when the tires get got, it should not effect the engine, the wheels just have less grip, spin easier etc.
Got out of fuel and engine turned off, got some more fuel in from pitstop, then press I , turns car engine on/off.
My engine was running fine, fully fueled, it just wouldnt accelerate...

you had 1st gear?
To the right of the far left tyres temps in F9, there should be a CT bar. That stands for clutch temperature. If you're in the red that means your clutch is hot and you can accelerate all you want but the car won't move. This means you're shifting up or down wrong.
