windows startup..
ello.. Yesterday I tried first time to record video with asus gamerosd, in hope that it could record sound too, but when I started recording the computer stucked straightaway. So I didn't bother anymore, I shutdowned my computer from the boot by pressing it a while.. Today I opened my computer.. It was running great until windows loaded and it was "loading" the login window,
then this happened.. screen shutsdown like when have overclocked too much. This isn't because of overclocks, I've set my clocks to default already.

This has happened for me earlier, when I switched gpu to another, but the same one..

Now I have done restoring in earlier time and uninstalled gamerOSD..
I'm going to uninstall my gpu drivers in a min, hope that works.
But if anyone have had this problem could tell me how to fix this.

Thanks
-Tomba
Damn! Works when there are no drivers.. But when I install those drivers it does the same thing. Those drivers should work, i've used them from the day when I formatted my computer.

Now I have asus drivers, 8.4 if i remember right..
AMD (ati)s drivers worked before 8.5 drivers, but now those does that I can't startup my computer nowhere.

I'm really stuck with these drivers, can someone help?

Do you get BSOD?
Given you can get into safe mode, it sounds like a BSOD (most likely caused by a knackered driver), but the machine is set to automatically reboot itself.

If you can get into safe mode again you can stop it from doing an automatic reboot by going into system properties (right click my computer, properties), then to advanced, settings under "start up and recovery" and untick "automatically restart". (slightly different under Vista, but it's vaguely the same place - havent got a vista vm I can test on right now atm though)

Reboot and see if you get a BSOD. If so, make a note of the first hex value (0x0123123 something), and the words in the top left of the screen (probably something like IRQ_EQUAL_TO_OR_LESS_THAN).

Alternatively if the machine was setup to write BSODs to the event logs, you can check through the system log to find out what it was.
Okay... Last night i fully formated my hd, then installed everything again until i installed drivers, it did the same.. So it does with my other hd which had never got drivers in it. I think i have my gpu overclocks still on, but I can't get them off because I can't get into smartdoctor, which is my only gpu oc program.. no settings on bios or nothing.

Here's a pic from safe mode with vga enabled.. "error can't find graphic card information" is from smartdoctor but that other might be the problem.

But first i need to get my ocs away, anyway to do it?

btw, there is no bsod coming still..

need fast help!
