Hi

I have a quick setup, and can do 1m15.3, but it EAT's tyres. Does anyone have a setup that's as quick, or quicker, but that doesn't eat the tyres (tyre temps), isn't really oversteery like some I've tried.

I'm over a second off the WR, and this setup is reaching it's limits I think. And anything more than 7 laps is nearly impossible.
I'm driving this one atm. I can get into the low 1.16s with it, but I think that's mainly by fault of my driving in stead of the set...

if your problem is tyre temp, you just have to put more pressure in the tires (yes, that works ). And after 3-4 laps, look to the tire temp, if the 3 parts of each wheels are not in the same range of T° (3-4°) (except sometimes the one of the middle, it could be slightly more hot without too much trouble), then adjust the camber.
Pay attention to not doing wheel spins too much with a low power setting for the clutch LSD (I am not a fan of this lsd, but I've never tried Fomulas, so don't know).
I am always worried of making a setup slower (which would just frustrate me), but I will give your stuff a try and see what happens.


What Diff type(s) do you prefer? Are you a Viscous man?
I had the same problem, but managed to change nothing on my set and solved it

Just make 100% sure you dont lock up anywhere, there are a couple of corners that un-weight the Left Front wheel and make it easy to lock.

failing that, reduce the braking force a little bit

Whats your pb now then? I'm running with very few lockups, very little wheelspin, but high temps, mainly on the right rear, as this takes the load on the most corners (T1, T7 (flat left over crest), T8 (gentle, but looooong), T9 (The final curve).

You know me Scott - I'm hardly a noob :P I know not to lock tyres
