i read somewere that you can change the 'darkness' of the skys to make it look nighttime.

but does that mean that the skies shange but the buildings still look like its broad daylight?

has anyone made a pack for all the tracks at night time?

and can you select 'night' from the list of bright, evening, overcast etc? or will it just overwrite say the overcast so if you wanted to race night you would select overcast ??

you can paint the sky any color, but everything else will still have its own lighting. so if you want "night", you have to paint all textures to dark, but even then it still will look weird...and it will replace some of the weather in the list.

It has nothing to do with textures. Lighting has to be changed to get the efect of night imo.

Well, the sky texture's brightness does actually make the whole track look darker. Just not to such a degree that it looks really realistic, but it does look good.
