someone goes beyond the limit and crashes and other person does as well exactly at the same time

ive seen it happen even with 4 cars, all spinning after all went beyond the limit at the same time

ive even seen it in real formula one, 2 cars slipping exactly at the same time without contact

my theory is that subcouncious keeps track of how strong your rivals force, they force to the limit you do as well, that would explain this coincidental accidents

it does happen, but usually is because you tend to followed the other guys rhythm instead of running your own pace. when he is out, although you know you should back off a little, sometimes you unvolunteerly repeat his mistake.

I think it's because following drivers tend to focus on the car in front, not on the track infront, so if the lead driver makes a mistake following drivers are likely to get sucked into it.

Yeh, its just the same in the real world...someone crashing in front of you and you crash watching them. You have to teach yourself and discipline yourself (i found) not to look..

another thing is when you aim not to hit something, you should aim at a clear part of the track and focus on hitting that, because when you focus on the obstacle, although your will does not want to hit it, you tend to run into it.

I think it could be a conspiracy

Its the same as if your driving on clean track your lap time may be 40 seconds, however if there is a faster person infront of you even without any drafting influence you will go faster, because you will mimic the lines and braking points of the faster person. Maybe dropping down to 38 seconds or whatever they are running timewise.
