Sometimes I love lifes little ironies.
Quote from ButterTyres :Looks like a good explanation to me! Bearing in mind my non-techy-tyre knowledge

Yup!

Its not good explenation, its technical facts!
Mahlzeit.....

Talking about physics and facts might be careless.....even though we tend to forget this - physics is a natural science and thus never can be absolutely accurate.

We must not forget, that we use models to describe reality as close as possible.....that does NOT mean these models match reality

I also often saw people using 'laws' developed for physics of rigid bodies when talking about tyres.....seems 'a little' strange to me

This whole topic is highly interesting and I think many of the things said might be as much 'on spot' as possible

I highly enjoyed the read about tyre wall heights.....no one should ever stop learning.....THANKS

Quote from DasBoeseC :Mahlzeit.....

Bless you.
You gotta love google, if i translate "Mahlzeit" in french, it give "flour". If i translate it in english, it give me "meal". Those two are related but in no way the same!

What does it mean?

Thanx
#31 - Vain
"Mahlzeit" is the abbrevated form of "Have a blessed meal" which is a common greeting around 12 o'clock, when people are used to have their meal.
"Mahlzeit" alone, not as a greeting, just means "meal" as google suggested.

Vain
.....and the "Mahlzeit" I use is meant as greeting, derived from a german comic:

.....but now.....BTT, please
Cool, Thanx!

I'm a bit late... But Mahlzeit!

Edit - Do you mean 12am or 12pm?
Noon.
