Computer Problem
I have the strangest pc problem & it is really starting to bug me.
About 3 weeks ago I turned on my pc & the monitor never booted up I checked again & nothing so I have no signal going to the monitor?

I swapped out the video card still nothing?
I reset the bios, nothing?
I then purchased a new mobo & still the problem remains?

What could it be? I really dont think the CPU would suddenly give up & I cant see the memory effecting the VGA signal.

What should I try next? I am thinking new CPU.

Any ideas ?? (i am getting LFS withdrawal symptoms)
Did you test with another monitor?

I take it your GPU is onboard?

If the memory is broken, there's usually some beeps when you turn on the computer. If it's dead silence, it's usually CPU that's broken. In rare cases it could be a faulty PSU.
If your pc , when you turned On , sound Bep Bep Beeeeep , is a memory problem

Try umplug the Hdd , and use the omboard GPU , also remove the memory´s and clean the stick , also remove the CPU , and clean

Check if your monitor is not burned , if smeal strange the monitor , well is that the prob

Check all the variants

I will try some different sticks. My GPU is on my graphics card, no onboard on my mobo.

a GPU is a graphics card if i am not mistaking
your right for some reason i thought it was the processor on the graphics card.

It is
lol you guys are confusing this person, and me! Simply put, you can call it either, GPU or graphics card, as GPU stands for graphics processing unit, which is the graphics card.. yeah

So your monitor doesn't seem to get any input from your PC, and you replace the mobo?

What about the GFX card...? What about checking all the connections? What about the monitor (my black Iiyama will sometimes lock me out randomly...)?

Yep new mobo same problem . I have tried 2 different cards & tested the one that was originally in it & it works fine.
I'm gona do another monitor test before I purchase a new CPU .
