Sense of pointless posts? (even this thread is)
Hi all! I just felt that I had to say this for a very looooong time now. Does anyone here see, like myself, that posting anything that isn't related to LFS quite pointless?. There is no true credibility to most of the information (that isn't LFS related) stated here because what originally brought everyone to this forum is because they like LFS and that they like to talk about it, whether they're racing drivers, do it as a hobby or anything car/bike related. I'm not saying that we should stop altogether discussing other matters but my point is is that other topics have their place in other forums where the topic of discussion is more related to the general discussions held at that forum. I probably think like this because I've grown to not give a shit to pretty much what everyone here says. I like discussing important issues with LFS but when it comes to anything else, I prefer discussing it in forums that are related to what I want to discuss.

Just wanted to say this as a form of relief, not discussion .
That's why we have a forum called 'General LFS Discussion' and one called 'Off Topic'. The 'General LFS Discussion' forum is for general LFS discussion and the 'Off Topic' forum is for topics that are unrelated to LFS, or 'Off Topic' if you like.

As he said.
+1

I honestly think that some threads ARE in fact quite meaningful and thread worthy in Off-Topic. But there's also no end to topics that aren't thread worthy at all. Just gotta pick and choose which ones you read and post in.
Must confess I sometimes post shit, but who cares?, not like you are forced to read it.
Isn't that what makes a community though? A mix of worthwhile and worthless.

Look at any forum, or even just banter down the local watering hole. It is what makes people as tight a ducks arse.
Well where I live they have specific pubs for each subject, if you talk about Eastenders in the Motorsport pub then you get shot.
quick, lynch him!
So none of my posts have been worthwhile at all?

What about the other 4000 that I deleted?

Likewise up here. I made the fatal mistake of wearing my Ross County hat, shirt and scarf into the Inverness Caley Thistle supporters club. Most uneasy couple of pints I ever had.
