People don't give admin passwords to their servers away willy nilly, you know. The point is you only have admin rights on your servers.

I think maybe he doesn't quite grasp wat admin rights are and what they are FOR.

Stealthmonkey, normally you don't need any admin rights to race on a public server, nor to "talk" (I suppose you mean chat, right?). The only thing you need admin rights for are things like kicking/banning users from the server, changing different server settings and stuff like that. You know... to admin a server. So... unless you want to kick/ban people you have no need whatsoever of admin rights.

If other people do have "the rights" then that's because it is their server, or they were given "the rights" by the owner of the server. I hope this clears things up a bit for you.

Admin stands for administrator, and administrator kinda means manager. So someone with Admin Rights has the rights to manage a server. To get those rights you:

1. create a server

or

2. meet people that run a server, get to know them well enough to let you manage their server

That is what that is all about, I am just solidifying what obsolum had to say.
