I use "download accellerator" since it allows for paused/resume downloading. I just checked and you should see the number of movies I have que'ed up to download. It will take me a year. I click to download, shut the PC off later, then forget to ever resume them, hehe.

nice pics but the game in my eyes is a bit .. not booring but ermm frustrating having to fly real time to say japan from usa.... takes forever. I use to just takek the plane down and look at the lovely scenery around......

but for a true plane enthusiast its a must!

Hm weird, the vid crashes any media player I throw at it (except VLC cuz I ain't tried it ). I'll try having a look tomorrow.. :S

That is why I fly at WSPilots. They put a rotating "hop list" up and tour areas each month. Really cool, nice short flights (around 20 minutes to an hour, depending on plane selection.) I've toured the pacific islands, the Rocky Mountains in the US, Australia... Also there is a permanent world tour hoplist. It is really a lot of fun.

If you like MSFS, check out www.wspilots.com. I kidnapped someone from there not long ago and brought him here, LOL. Hijacked his plane, duct taped him up, flew back to the airport, threw him in the back of my FZR, and dropped him off at the nearest demo track. He's now S2 licensed .

Wow, that does look pretty amazing. Last flight sim I've played was FS2000, haven't had a proper joystick for many years. While looking at those FS-X screenshots I think I'm gonna buy one again

One thing I'm quite afraid tho, have Microsoft done "their thing" again and only make the famous and public places look nice in FS, or have they actually finally made the whole earth more-or-less detailed?

At least in FS2000 Finland, for example, was horribly low-detailed and flat as a pancake (only few 3d buildings in Helsinki..)

2004 is a HUGE step up from 2000. Alot of the less famous cities are still very well detailed. The very first time I played 2004, I started at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. I used to live in Phoenix, AZ for a good 2 years, and I was amazed how much detail they put into that city.
