WWE wrestling.
does anyone watch it? i know most of you don't but just asking if anyone else watches it.
PS this is not a wrestling flame thread so if you have nothing nice to say don't post anything.
I used to when I was much smaller. Back then it wasn't all politics, and was pretty good. But then I found out it was fake (I was fairly naive at around 5 :razz, and just went off it...
Didn't matter it was fake, watched wrestling every Saturday religiously, when it was the WWF. Sargeant Slaughter, Jimmy 'Superfly' Snuka, Rocky Johnson (the Rock's father), Tony Atlas, Big John Studd, Andre the Giant, awesome stuff.

'Professional' wrestling is ridiculous today in comparison to back then. More theatrical wrestling in the ring and less general outside-the-ring theatrics than what goes on today. But in today's bling bling world, you have to have the bling bling to pull in the fans.

Dude, it's all fake. Every last thing that happens is fake. Every punch, slam, slap, hair pull.. all staged. They're trying to tell a really, really, really lame story. For some reason a story with greased up guys in speedos...

"One night in China" though.......is horrifyingly real.

the moves are planned out but the pain is real.. people get hurt if they do the move wrong.

That doesn't happen often.

btw I remember when I watch it on TV very long ago, the audience are made up not only by men, but woman, kids etc......dunno why do they think it's worthwhile family entertainment to watch fake fighting and *divas*with fake boobs, participating in mindless games of bras and panties matches........I mean doesn't that make you stupid?

Here it seemed to be popular still in 18+ age. Couple of my friends used to follow it, of course they knew it was bullshit but they were quite die hard fans.

Well, I can understand why someone still would enjoy watching it. After all, movies and TV shows are fake too. But I don't watch any of that regularly.
i like it how when they 'punch' each other, they simultaneously stomp their foot to make noise, distract and give the illusion of awesomeness or something like that
also the floor is softer than a muffin :

it's male choreography with pretend violence
People actually watch this?
I realise it's all fake, but... to what degree, you see gaping cuts, gashes and often blood. They punch someone, blatently miss and stamp the floor at the same time though LOL retarded.
I watched it when I was much much younger. Can't remember the years, but clearly remember Goldberg was a good guy and Tank was an unstoppable machine... I did enjoy it even though it was fake
Fortunatly faked fights between men in swimwear do not waste bandwidth on anythin other than Murdochvision here
I used to watch it then came off of it when I found out it was fake, watch things like Grappling, Freestyle Wrestling etc... They are real, a lot more intresting when you know its real
I do watch it sometimes when I feel like it. Can't see anything wrong with it. You also watch movies, don't you?

The actual "wrestling" in WWE sucks anyway. Japan is where it's at.

Wrestling is all over the world, it depends on what type of wrestling you are talking about, there is a big list of different types, a few:
Freestyle
Greco-Roman
Grappling
Amateur.
etc...

So you also stopped watching movies when you realized that it's all acted?
