noob here, just started today. i've been trying to set up my pad the same way i play gt4 on the ps2. the throttle and the brake on the right analog stick's y-axis and the steering with the left analog stick's x- axis. i've got the steering correct but cannot get the throttle-brake correct. can anyone assist?

Not sure what the problem is that you're experiencing, only that you're experiencing problems. Do they behave erratically? Do they not behave at all? I'm not sure..

Only thing I can offer is a check-list. Make sure you've installed the drivers, run the calibration in Control Panel > Game Controllers, and set the axes in LFS. I don't have, and haven't ever tried, a rumble pad, but it shouldn't present a problem if the axes are reporting to Windows. If you have other USB game devices, unplug those just in case a wobble in one of them is stealing the axis when you're trying to set it in LFS.

thanks for the reply, I fixed the throttle. i did not combine the throttle and brake. for another problem, is there any way to make the steering not so sensitive?
