i know this may sound stupid but i have managed to forget how to quote peoples comments for my signiture .
Could someone please help me out and explain?, thanks.

Press the quote button so it opens up a new post with the quote in, copy it then go to your User CP and paste it into your sig.

Find the post you want to quote, press the quote button.

Copy 'n' paste the stuff that comes up in the box into User CP>Edit Sig.

If you can (as in, if the thread hasn't been locked) click the quote button on their post and copy/paste into your sig. If not, just copy/paste their post and wrap [quote][./quote] tags around it. Hope that helps
