Computer Website With Pay Monthly Option?
Does anybody know if theres a website that sells computer parts such as ebuyer, that has an option to pay monthly via credit card?

I'm needing to buy parts to build a computer but i have nowhere near enough for the whole lot in one go.

There are, but it's not cheap with interest and you'd need to be over 18 as it's a credit agreement.
You'd end up paying £200 more for it. Just save up and wait and you'll get more for your money.

eBuyer now do a buy-now-pay-later scheme with 9 months with no interest or anything (not even an admin fee a la PCW) but you need to be over 18 with a minimum of working 16 hours per week.

Oohhh, ebuyer has that option now? Since when? :|
And i cant save up because of the fact my money is constantly dispersing. And its my dad who would be paying monthly anyways, i had the choice of paying monthly and him helping out, or paying all at once with no help from him.
I shall check out this pay later option
Thank you

Learn to save tbh.

eBuyer has had that option since well... today!

http://www.ebuyer.com/special/1787

Scan & OcUK also do finance options but i'm not sure of the terms.

PCW also do 6 months interest free but theres a £25 "admin free".

Cant save if i dont have a proper source of income.
£10 a week from my dad, £5 goes to bus money for the week, and if i starve myself at school then i can get away with saving £3 a week, which is what i do already.
But £3 a week is going to take a long time to get the monies to buy a computer, and i cant get a job because i am WAYYY to shy to ask a total stranger for a job.

Well thats lucky that it comes in the day i ask if its possible.
Im checking out the other 3 websites now

Thank you jakg

If you only get £2 a week then getting sadled by a massive debt isn't a good idea.

Remember - I'm socially inept and I have a job. Grow a pair!

It'll be my dads debt not mine
But he gets enough money to pay monthly. And if he didn't i have a spare £200 from my birthday i can chip in, although that wouldnt count for much.

I cant grow a pair Litarely if i get stuck somewhere with a bunch of strangers i just freeze and cant talk or anything. And the thought of going into a shop and asking if they have a job, and then them perhaps saying no or telling me I'm asking the wrong person, ooo the embaressment would be just too much!!

Anyways, on ebuyer ive found that it says
Quote :Are there any restrictions on what items I can order? You are only permitted to order one item per order. Products eligible for Ebuyer’s finance options will be indicated on our website.

Which means i wont be able to order from them, because i have more then one part, unless i buy my Z-5000's or monitor from there, pah i shall keep looking.

Just grow a pair - I know it doesn't help but actually getting the job is helping me talk to people.

Plus in the last month I earnt just over £300 for working 2 days a week...

I've tried before, but they just wont grow lol.
But jesus :| that's alot of money, at that rate i could have enough money for my computer parts in 6 days!!
Anyways lets not get too off topic else we may get shouted at.

I meant £300 in a month, for working 2 days a week.

Godamnit You got me all horny there!
Migz, if you can't save up, don't buy the pc You can't spend money you don't have.

If I work for 3 months I will get a minimum of £1016.28 (I think). Add onto that any bonuses (i.e. £5 for any connection etc) and any pay-rises I could get and I would have a lot of £ and no debt.

But the thing is, its not my money, its my dads.
For my birthday he gave me a choice of two things, either he pays monthly for a "top of the range" computer, or he gives me a bit of dosh and i buy it myself. He never did either, and that was in June, so if i want i can still ask him to pay monthly. I'm not going to get into debt, neither is he. But if i wanted to be nice i could give him the money i got for my birthday and he only needs to pay the toher £600-£800 montly. (Wow i seem spoilt)

Btw is it just me or is PC world extremely under informative? It has a bunch of windows vista OS's but it doenst say if their 32 bit or 64 bit. Which is quite stupid imo.
www.dabs.com also do "credit" they have the buy now pay next year option. the also has a mpp (monthly payment plan) damn call center talk......... most/all places require some kind of deposit though. usually 10% of the price.

Do you honestly think any of our customers would be able to know the difference? In fact do you even think any of our SALESMEN understand the difference?

It's easy enough to find out on a PC instore, simply rule of thumb is that unless it has 4GB of RAM it probably has x86 as a pose to x64

are you sure... says on that page you linked: : If your application is accepted an arrangement fee of £29.00 will be applied.

Oh - I had a read (because i was curious) and it seems that I failed.

The fixed fee makes sense.

Ahah, you work at PC world? I didnt know that, although im sure its in the "Post Your Job Here" thread lol.

Well yeah fair enough who would really, ive decided to go with the dabs site for now though, its full of alot of stuff, ive got about 20 tabs open right now with all the different parts needed to build computers.

Also does x86 stand for a 32 bit version of windows? And x64 for a 64 bit version of windows?
#22 - Jakg
x86 is just the terminolgy used for the normal 32-bit CPU's you find in PC's (Wiki it if you want a better explanation), x64 means 64-bit x86 iirc.

Yeah I work at PC World. I probably posted that tib-bit of info too much

Ooooh, i shall indeed wiki it, wikipedia always turns out as an adventure.

Oh, haha.
working in pc world shouldn't be an issue Jakg. it's money in the pocket and if we have good lads working on the inside then it's all good
