Hotlap issues
Hello everone!
I got some question about that hotlap making.
So here we go. First of all, how much fuel effects for those hotlap times?
like about some 5% more fuel? or where goes the "line"
where the car is starting to be too heavy to make good hotlap times.

And then is that weather. That doesnt effect the hotlap time i think?

(sry for my english.. I tried my best )
I am not a hotlapper but I'd guess you would want to take the amount needed to complete one lap with you.

The different weather options don't influence the track, only the visuals.
hm..only take fuel for 3 or 4 laps thats enough to bring the tire on temperature.
i dunno if the weather is some piont to think about.
if you want to be sure, turn the wind off or so..

one lap for heating tires -> and then 1 or 2 fast laps -> finito
well, of course you would want your car to have only as much weight as necessary. an extra 80% of fuel in the tank can cost quite some time.

nobody who is at least a bit serious about hotlapping will carry an almost full fuel tank with him/her.
that said, i for one never carry only as much fuel as needed for one lap. i always got some spare percent left

especially in cars where tyre wear is not really an issue i sometimes take up to 30 or more percent of fuel with me - just for doing a few fast laps, not only a single one.
Where as weather doesn't effect conditions (that I know of and that was said above me here). It can definitely effect the visuals enough to give you slight advantages in say South City. You could be blinded around a corner and miss the apex, or the walls might blend into the darness of a cloudy day and make you mis-judge slightly. However, besides that I wouldn't see weather being significant.
Thank you for advices!
I take 2% out of the fuel and get my hotlap finally!
(but i dont think that it helped me at all)
i really dont even remember how long time i tried to do this.
Everything just goed like it should. It weels so good right now
