The single-engine karts have small displacement but have a top speed (at this track, real top speed is much higher) of around 95 km/h, the revlimiter (i always turn it off, easy) limits that to 80 km/h because people here usually crash at higher speeds lol

The twin-engine karts have two of those engines, non-limited with a heavier back gear, makes it do around 125 on that track, 135 on the straight if you really know some better lines there (the less obvious ones )

You guys certainly want to post this on www.simracing.nl as well as that is were the Dutch league is hosted. Also, there is a meeting of that community in SimWorld in Haarlem this month. There are only a few places left and up to now, not many 'LFS'ers' have signed up. Simworld only has rFactor (except for the Force Dynamics 301 of course!) but sim racing with 30 at the same location is great fun regardless of the sim.

And don't forget to sign up for the dutch league starting on 11th September here.

For this meeting, the location of the track ist mir egal.

Its a good idea BUT...

Imo there needs tobe one guy thats gonna fix all this arrange the kart event etc, and imo everyone should pay in advance otherwise this isnt gonna work. If everyone pays in advance its more secure for the guy arranging all this and this way you know for sure the people are comming.

As for a good central circuit imo nijverdal or Oldenzaal should be the one, its quite central, for peeps from the north quite easy accessible through germany A31... AUTOBAHN jawohl... And its a very good circuit. Also, if you come from the north or from Amsterdam, its almost the same travel time so imo, its the best choice...

yes i live way up north aswell... If i need togo further then Utrecht then i must decline, its getting too far for just a meeting...

So imo we should arrange a meeting in the provence of Utrecht or Overijssel.

It's raining like hell here, but i know the owner of the Driebergen track, so i'll go ask for the prices for about 15-20 people for 2 hours or so.. i'll do that tomorrow, as i have lots of free time then.

Atleast i know it's not expensive.. Oh btw, the "slow" karts have GX180 engines, so yes 180cc, and the fast karts have the same GX180 blocks, but delimited (i could delimit them as i worked there as a track aid manager and stuff lol, it's one red plug to pull on the engine ^_^ )

the REALLY fast karts are the 6 karts that very few people even here know of, those six all have twin 180cc blocks xD
My dad converted those karts from the standard about 8 years ago and they're fast as hell when handled properly.. those things are expensive to drive (the engines aren't stock so they use LOTS of fuel lol) and mostly private though.. but i'd stick to the single-engine karts here, fast enough you can't get to the top speed on those here either when delimited physically, and then you're already doing about 95 km/h @ 9750 RPM so yeah..

Anyway, as i said i'll report some estimates tomorrow!

b ) Maximaal bedrag stellen. Of aantal ronden vast stellen.
c ) Contact zoeken met diverse kart centra om prijzen te vergelijken.
d ) Een lijst maken van hoeveel er daadwerkelijk willen?.

Ik bedoel er zullen altijd mensen enthousiast zijn maar puntje bij het paaltje altijd afhaken. Eerst een serieuze lijst maken van wie wel en niet wil. Prijzen vast stellen, wat wil je voor die dag. Alleen karten of daarna wat eten ? Ik bedoel maar wat maar eerst een mooi programma op stellen lijkt me erg raadzaam. Locatie zou ik echt midden nederland zoeken. Ik vermoed anders dat er niet veel Hollandse LFSers gaan opdagen. Als je bijvoorbeeld al voor 1 uurtje karten 2 uur moet rijden is mij inziens de lol er wel af. Ook keuze maken inderdaad tussen en buiten of binnenbaan.

Maar ik heb er wel oren naar. Afhanelijk wat het geintje gaat kosten uiteraard. De lol moet wel opwegen tegen de euries
