Quote from S14 DRIFT :No-one really does Oval racing, only FM junkies (Oh look you're in FM, says alot) and a few other people

Not many people do drifting anyway, O look your a drifter.... idiot.
To AMB.

# 1 : *You're

# 2 : I'm not a drifter. Who's the idiot now?

I mainly race FWD hatchbacls on the CTRA Race 1 server, and sometimes the LX4/LX6 cars. Also taken part in the IGTC series in 2007, and the UF1000 cup. It's very rare I ever go on a drift server. I used to drift back on Demo when I started playing in pre-final S1, but I've kept the same name throughout my LFS career.

Perhaps you should reconsider what you see at face value and learn not to judge people :sadbanana

To 510N3D.

What you do with your team and your time is no concern of mine. I'm not one of those people who despise a certain group of players based upon what they do. I don't really understand what you're trying to say, but in any case I meant no offense towards the FM team as a whole.

If you're wondering where I'm saying that no-one really does oval racing, just go to the server list, and see how many servers have Oval track with people actually racing. It'll be few and far between

Learn not to judge people which is basically what you've done in most of your posts, and sorry I didn't write in perfect English... maybe I should go through your posts and correct some of your mistakes...
I'll admit, I do judge people. It's not something I'm proud of. However it's not often that I judge 'people' as a whole, rather the stereotypes behind thier ethnicities.

However I don't make a point of trying to insult someone because of what I think think they do. If you feel the need to correct some of my posts, then please feel free to waste your time.

If I'm going to be rude to someone, then, out of respect, I'll do so with correct grammar or else I'll end up looking like a dweeb.

You're right i'd waste my time on correcting your posts, but also using a word such as 'dweeb' is...funny

Next you'll start calling me noob.

Fair enough. I was simple referring to the stereotype "FM = oval team" which seems to be the common opinion about us. Not really a problem but its simple misleading and not true (at least after my personal understanding) and i just took the oportunity (perhaps a bit further then necessary) to clarify this once more. So no offence taken from my side as same as i hope that you haven't taken any by me as well.

About the server list and the track use in particular, while you're certainly right about that you would be suprised how well our servers had been visited in the past. Its just that some people are afraid of going to the oval simple and mostly* because they fear to end up in a big mess "right after the lights turn green". Without a set of rules this is most likely the case on a public base but we have shown that its possible to get this running quite successfully anyway.

*Leaving the realism fanatics aside for now

off topic: Im thinking about more ovals, proper vehicles & settings (asymmetric suspension for instance) and more realistic conditions (mainly aerodynamics related) and then this gap between curcuit tracks and oval tracks would be much smaller then it is right now. LFS is ready for this and im really curious if the devs are taking this into consideration for further development or not. The concept of lfs could imply such a step but you never know right?
