Probably, your power adaptor has packed in.
If you've got another compatible one from something else, then try and see if it works.
If it is just the adaptor, take it back to the shop for a replacement, otherwise take the full thing back for a replacement.
i cant take it back to the shop

my m8 bought it and apparently his blew up so he got another (mine) which i bought off him,

they wont replace them if they have been used on a PC..

so could it be something to do with different voltages that has blown something up ?

althought i fail to see how this has happened as it worked perfectly fine the last time i used it :S
also i have a couple of power adaptors laying around which are th same voltage and nothing..
What exactly means "it is not working"? When you plug DFP into USB port on your PC, it should work, but without FF effects.... That adaptor provides just additional power for FF servos. If your wheel is not working at all - that means your computer cannot recognize it when plugged into USB, just return it to the shop. There must be a 2 year guarantee on it, mustnt it?

Well, try it on a PS2, if it doesn't work on the PS2, it's broke.
It's not as if the shop needs to know it was also being used on a PC, now is it?
IMO it's not a question I wouldn't expect them to be asking anyway. It should be a case of you walk in with it and say 'It's not working', they plug it into a PS2 and check, then give you a new one.
Most places, if you simply want a replacement, won't even bother checking first.
Yea, word is you really get a replacement very fast and easily, I wonder what kind of huge overstock they made
no power get to it... b4 plugging it into anything!
