Finally got a New Computer
I know it isn't the best but it will do for a couple of months as my Dad wanted a desktop so he is getting my old one and I am obviously having the new one.

Current Specs:
AMD 64 X2 4600
3GB Ram
320GB Hard Drive
Don't know what exact mobo it has in it yet.
3450 GFX Card
19" Widescreen Monitor

The specs it will hopefully be after updating it over the course of a couple of months, hopefully:
Q6600
3GB Ram (Might put it up to 4GB, dont know yet)
Asus P5K Pro
9800GTX (This will be the first update)

As I said it isn't the best but we just quickly got one that was similar spec to my old P4 but more upto date so it wont need so much parts changing.

Nice
DO NOT RUN 3GB. either 2gb or 4gb. unless ur running a 1gb stick and a 2gb stick. 2 sticks or 4 sticks. not 3 sticks. it will run ok but will have big chance of being unstable or possibly killing board or memory.

dont remember were i rwad it but it cant hurt your hardware. not sure how either its just what i read. i will try to find it but not sure if u can.
I ran 3GB in my last Dell. Lasted fine for nearly 7 years, I only got rid of it because I wanted a new one

The problem is that (can't remember in which types it does this, DDR2 I think) you need matching pairs of RAM. IE, in slot 1 and 3, both sticks should be exactly the same, and if you're going to use more, 2 and 4 should be the same. It will still run absolutely fine, but it just won't be as powerful

I've been running 3 GB for the last few months (1GB died and I CBA to send off for a replacement), no issues...
I have 3GB aswell, no problems at ALL, going to upgrade to 4 or more though soon
