Anyone noticed this before?

I don't think it is a skin problem, but I could be mistaken.

I guess it's a reflection on the wing edge as it bends for the bonnet apeture. Try drving around with a different skin (say an entirely black one) and turning to see what happens, or in different lighting conditions.
