LFS File2Folder
LFS-F2F faciliates working with files for LFS as it adds the ability to Windows, that just by "opening" the files, these are copied into the corresponding LFS folder.

Supports ".set", ".spr" and ".mpr" at the moment.
Requires Java Runtime 1.5 or higher.
There is an English and a German version.

As there is no way for this application to be called a mod, I think I can put it here without breaking any rule. If I do, please remove this post.

edit:
Download replaced: minor glitch fixed; supports ".lyt" now.

What does the program do!?
Quote from nikimere :What does the program do!?

If you open a file, it is being copied into the LFS folders.

.mpr -> ~\data\mpr\
.set -> ~\data\settings\
.spr -> ~\data\spr\

The program is not necessary anymore after installation. Only the action for the file type is changed.

For example (.set):
cmd /c copy "[the file]" "[LFS-Folder]\data\settings\"

Naturally there is also an option to undo it.

Quite simple, but it has got on my nerves for some time now, that you had to do it manually.

He said it. Like, when you download an mpr file from here or someone sends you their .set over MSN and you double click it, Windows moves the file to their respective folder so you dont have to. Just open LFS and open the file from there.

Good job mate!

This sounds very handy
Very nice idea! I was already getting fed up with the endless copying. Had already tried several FF plugins that more or less remembered where you put certain file types, but they all didn't really work as wanted.

Though, I have to admit that I shamelessly copied your idea and built a .NET 2.0 version of it for myself. (I hate Java )
Very nice, I've always wanted something like this!

Java might not be the best language for editing the Windows registry as in this case, but I like it nevertheless as it gets jobs done well and in an acceptable amount of time.

A minor glitch managed to get in, which might lead to the program not working on some configurations - especially Windows 2000/NT.
This is fixed now. Furthermore ".lyt" has been added.
