Long distance relationships can work out! Chances are slim, but there are chances! My girlfriend lives only 70-80 kilometres from where I live, but that doesn't stop us, I even read once about a girl having a boyfriend in the us. And my aunt is married to a guy from Austria, and every week in a magazine there is a woman that is married to a guy in England.

Normally only a Dev/Release-thread gets that much attention. Looks like LFS racers mainly crave for two things - LFS and... postcount :p

I agree they can work out, my ex lives 270 miles away and we were going out for 6 months... agreed to end it because of complications with her parents and just stay good friends, that was 7 months ago still really good friends now and in a few years time we plan on living together... for life!
