A very very sad day for music and Floyd. I read they were planing a full come back in 2009. Sad to think we will never ever see Pink Floyd in its entirety every again.

Shine on...
That's sad

I don't know what else there is to say.
Shine on you Crazy Diamond, gone to Rest on the Dark Side of the Moon.
R.i.p.
That's very sad. Especially for my dad. He was one of the true rockers of those decades.

R.I.P
Sad indeed

I'll join you in saying, shine on ...
When I heard on the radio, I thought, I'll have to post this before the General Lee does .

But, since this is the first I've had electric at home since last Sunday, I couldn't use the computer...

Pink Floyd has been the biggest influence of my music listening since that day my friend told me to "sit between the speakers and listen to this..." back around 1987 or so.

Comfortably Numb was the first I heard, and Shine On... was the 2nd. I have no less than 3 Floyd CDs loaded in the car at any one time. Unfortunately, my current work commuter doesn't have a CD player, so I only hear it in the car when I'm driving the wife's car somewhere. At home, the kids don't allow for me to enjoy listening to music as it's work all day, play with the kids in the evening, then they are in bed and the house is too small to find a place that won't wake them up to listen to music.
