RBR and Adrian Newey
Who is with me when i say they HAVE to have a fast car next year.

Adrian Neweys record when massive changes happen are good.

other then 06 when he was in the middle of a switch from Mclaren and Red bull so he couldn't capitalise properly he has made gods.

Redbull have invested in Vettel for soo long and now that they managed to get such a talent from there pool its there perfect time to capitise.

Not to mention people can't wait 2-3 years untill he can get a competive car he needs one ASAP!!

Thanks for your time, im just impatient and can't wait for him to be winning titles

LOL

Things are really up in the air next year. Newey should be alright with aero, but no-one can judge how good their KERS will be.

If things are to continue the way they are, RBR has a good chance of a nice package. If their KERS sucks, then they're obviously doomed.

ITV said only 2 teams(BMW and Williams) will be using it next year, as they are too scared to use it due to reliability.

But even if they do i think the gaps between the teams will be alot bigger then they were, think back to 05, in terms of field spread out.

aye, it's a sad fact that big rule changes spread the field out again. I think F1 could benefit from a few Roosevelt style 5 year plans !

As we have seen, putting a team member who has a good record into a team doesnt seem to have much effect on the teams results, e.g. Ross Brawn at Honda, although he has not much to do with the car design, but Newey does, so perhaps Newey will improve RBR's results.

KERS is a joke and should be scrapped.

Brawn joined honda at the time when they had basically already made there 08 car.

and completely re-building a team in 1 year is bloody hard I would expect atleast 3 years to get it.

I guess, I forget that it takes over a year to develop a f1 car from nothing.

We will see next year, I hope that Honda improve anyway, or else Jenson Buttons career is down the toilet.

Button's career is already half way down the toilet, now we'll have to see if Brawn can pump him back up....

and hopfully the rumours with Sato and Toro Rosso is true, so that the Toso can run a Honda engine, with Red Bull switching back to Ferrari. but I don't know the contractual sides of that through, don't know if it can actually happen or not...

I don't think Berger will allow that.

well he failed to stop Red Bull's dumping the Ferrari engine to them, when they thought the Renault engine were superior... notice all the past tense used in that sentence...
STR won't be switching to Honda engines, because they've already signed up Ferrari as their engine supplier for another season. RBR is the same with Renault.

What Sato will do is give Red Bull a marketing tool for the lucrative Japanese market. The Japanese market is hard to break, so Sato will be a good catch for them. Experienced, fast, and Japanese. Obvious choice really.

Sato could even benefit from this. He can sign with STR for its remaining season, and pending his performance, have an option clause to switch to Honda for 2010 when Barrichello must surely be up for retirement (if he isn't dropped at the end of this season). That way he gets the $ from Red Bull, gets the F1 drive he wants, doesn't have to break his link with Honda, and still has a partially-guaranteed drive in 2010.

So your saying you would prefer a Cosworth engine over a Ferrari one?

and I belive that was the agreement by Webbers manager Flavio Briatore(Renault) in order for him to drive for them.
