LFS imitating Real Life
I've noticed loads of sections of LFS tracks remind me of sections of real-life tracks, whether by look or by driving style through them. I'll post some of my examples, but I'm curious whether these will match what you guys suggest.

So, before I do - any examples come to mind?
Laguna Seca corkscrew corner on AS Historic/Cadet/ North. First saw the real corner in GT2.

Not only are the tracks imitating real life but the cars are too. XF GTI has Punto interior and the XRG/T has a Mitsubishi GTO dash.

or the legendary corner in Spa.

and the first 3 corners of KY2 feels like Formula One USGP track.

Lot of people say that, same with Eau Rouge... really i dont find any similarity only they change elevation of the track
Maybe the devs will have a little insight on this topic
Westhill is like Phillip Island Raceway in Australia
An obvious one: Kyoto/Suzuka
I've always seen the Aston 'corkscrew' (in the normal config) as a very shortened version of turn 1 and 2 of Cadwell.
Kyoto National does kinda remind me of Rockingham. Or any infield oval track tbh
There's a double right hander at South City reminds me a lot of turn 1 at Suzuka.

Plus the uncanny resemblance of Fern Bay Green to Melbourne:

Fern Bay Green
Albert Park

#13 - Jakg
Magny Cours reminds me of Aston and Indianapolis Infeild of Kyoto National (watch the on-board - a lot of the corners are similar...)
Real life just imitates LFS :nerd:
Turn 1 at Aston National (and some other configs) is almost identical to Parabolica at Monza.

This is a good thing, early apexes sort the men from the boys

Not nearly as much as late apexes do like that of Aston National Reverse.

that corner looks more/feels more like eau rouge from spa francorchamps

I always thought that (that would be a great track with rain)
The 3 mile straight on le mans reminds me of the section of the M1 I have to drive every week to work - oh wait, thats not LFS is it, maybe its real life-----eek!

+1 that corner is a bitch to get right consistantly
Personally speaking, they've never improved on Blackwood. I've driven round that slippery shite of a track a trillion times. It's the greatest circuit in the world.

It's got everything.....long meandering straight, push to the limit turns, little or no overtaking zones and a perfick hill climb to the flag.

Blackwood is the greatest.
