Sharing An Outlook Calendar Accross 2 PC's...
I currently have 2 computers, my laptop, which is where my calendar is stored and where I edit it, and my computer, which can sync my calendar from Outlook to my Phone.

I want to get my calendar from the laptop to the PC, however rather than just exporting the calendar from one PC to the other, I would like it to automagically update whenever I edit it. I've tried using the "publish to internet" option, but that makes a new calendar - but i'm not sure if it (I'm using Mobile Phone Explorer) will work with the non-default calendar.

Both are running Office 2007 (can't remember the version - but they both have Outlook 2007).

HALP.
Was Googling such a terribly hard thing to do? I swear you just think: "I've found a fiver... LFS FORUM!" "I can't open this bottle of Coke... LFS FORUM!" We have enough problem with users with <20 posts not Googling, our lead spammer should really have learned by now.

I've spent less than a minute searching and I've found out (from a Microsoft Support Manager's forum post) that you can't do it natively without Exchange server, but you can using an application such as this to facilitate the sync. There are a few other options, listed here.
Why must the hatrid for Jakg ensue? Jakg, I still love you baby...

Oh, and Google is your friend.

Actually I DID Google - And came across the exchange comments (which I doubted was true).

I also found the software, and meant to put in my first post is there a FREE way of doing it.
I don't think there is a free way of doing it automatically whenever you update your main calendar.

Maybe this could be interesting (if you trust google )
Laptop Outlook --> to google to --> PC Outlook

I usually use my Phone and MS active sync.
Plug it to one PC then to the other.
Takes only a few seconds

I also use Hotmail (and the Outlook connect thing) so I will try to get that working tonight.

I don't think my phone works with Active-Sync, an as it is all I want is my calendar on my phone, but i need to use the cable not bluetooth and so I have to do it on my main PC...
Depends on what OS is on your phone. If it's windows mobile then your spoilt for choice for a calender, a lot of people like Thumbcal. If it's a symbian os i think Yahoo do a free calender/email/address book type thing that shouldn't be to 'cacky'. It should link up with Outlook to, and any Yahoo email accounts, as long as you use Ypops.

Personally i hate MS Outlook with a passion. I've been trying to get my ppc sync'd with my PC in Linux using Evolution and Thunderbird, but i'm having a few issues with telling Linux it has the ppc connected, it needs all sorts of geeky programming stuff going on in the terminal and it's stumped me a tad. But i'll do almost anything to avoid using Outlook and Active Sync.

My phone = Sony w960i (runs UIQ3.3 / Symbian, latest firmware).

I like Outlook and ActiveSync (I've had 2 PDA's in the past). * embarrassed face*

I think Exchange is the only way to do it, although I gotta say that Exchange is bloody brilliant when you DO do it. I used to run an Exchange server from home, on an old HP netserver. I started out using Exchange 5.5 but I upgraded it to Exchange2000 (I had an MSDN Universal licence back then and could do what I wanted )

Exchange makes Outlook spring to life, IMO. You haven't scraped the surface of Outlook until you've connected to an Exchange server and arranged your first meeting! Connected!? You ain't seen nothing!
... and then, you can sync your calendar and contacts wirelessly to your iPhone using Exchange!
