1) go with a car to a track and don't do anything
2) change your view (V) to any other (e.g. to Chase view)
3) press SHIFT + U
4) press Esc
=> the view should revert to Chase view or the view that you selected but it won't. It will only if you pull out and go

PS: It works only if you change view from your default to another.

I see what you mean, I was able to reproduce it in some situations. It basically happens when you switch to chase view (behind the car), then go to Shift+U, then Esc. The view is restored to chase view, but it is somewhere above the car, so the car is not in the view. The car only appears once you start driving, as the view is refreshed to include the car. Also, it only seems to happen when you first spawn on the track. If you start driving first, then try this, then it should work normally.
